Trent Baines
Trent is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and regular commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy class of 1989. He served five flying assignments at bases all around the United States. He retired as a command pilot with over 1,800 hours in the C141 and over 4,700 hours total time, with more than 2,500 instructor hours in the T-37. Trent retired as a detachment commander at Peterson AFB, CO in Oct of 2013.
Trent is currently a 757/767 Captain for a major US Airline. He lives in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife Lori. They have four children, one granddaughter and two Alaskan Malamutes.
Thomas Hawkins
Thomas Hawkins enlisted in the Army in October of 1984. His first assignment was the Field Artillery-Lance Battalion at Herzo Base, Germany. After his first tour Thomas attend Florida State University with an Army ROTC Scholarship. He received his commission as a Signal Corp Officer @ Fort Gordon GA in 1993. Thomas ETS was July 2000.
In civilian life Thomas started working for the IT company Accenture/Anderson Consulting in 1996, and later for IBM, and then for Innovative Emergency Management IEM. Thomas brings 25 years of leadership, project delivery, and account growth management for Federal, State, and Local government agencies. He has successful delivery of large cross-agency projects, achieved high client satisfaction, sound financial performance, and reliable customer references for projects of $100M, $250M, and $800M.
His relevant skills include large complex Project Delivery, building strong cohesive solution and delivery teams for both waterfall and agile projects, Solution Architecture for both COTS and Custom Software Development, Operational and Organizational Impact Analysis and Solution Design, and Legacy Application Modernization and Cloud strategy planning and execution.
